Q n' A (and q frozen turtle)
A weird evening. On my way from work to the gym, a lump of cleared snow on the sidewalk had a turtle in it (dead, I presume by it's stance, a fair size, I'd say with a carapace of about 7 in., not your average snow find). A moment when I wished I had my camera (but left it at home, sick of lugging it around waiting for such moments). Take my word for it, ok? [insert mental image here]
Once back at work, I sat down at a mac only to have my a's malfunction (and discover that to type an a, I needed to touch the q...(and vice versa). The m proved a bit more tricky, hidden behind an ' near the n. It took me quite a while (I'm stil in Huggies when it comes to this environment, and trying to figure out my approach - excuse the personal pun) to figure out that my mac thought it was in France...(who exactly thought HE was in France and had set the keyboard as such needs a reality check).
